Opening Night

Jane Deasy is an Irish composer working in the field of electronic/electroacoustic music and multimedia. She also works as a sound designer for theatre and moving image. Opening Night was a theatre piece created for the Dublin Fringe Festival that ran for five nights in The Complex theatre, Dublin in September 2022. The show deals with ideas around performance and the audio-visual contract and is partly inspired by the films of Bob Fosse and John Cassavetes.

I designed the poster for the production as well as a large scale vinyl print with programme notes and credits that was affixed to the door of the gallery space.
